The “Tiger Initiative” is a name, image, and likeness (NIL) collective dedicated to supporting student-athletes at Northeast Mississippi Community College. Our mission is simple: to provide opportunities and resources that empower NEMCC student-athletes to excel academically, athletically, and personally. We recognize the unique challenges that student-athletes face, especially at the community college level. Balancing academic responsibilities with athletic commitments requires determination, resilience, and support. That’s why we’re here—to offer a helping hand, a guiding light, and a network of support that extends far beyond the playing field.

Through generous donations from individuals, organizations, and businesses who share our vision, we can provide essential resources to NEMCC student-athletes and empower the next generation of leaders, scholars, and champions. Together, we can answer the call to help NEMCC student athletes and teams within the framework of the law and NJCAA Policy. The funds raised through the Tiger Initiative are intended to provide student-athletes with the necessary resources and support to achieve their full potential and excel in their respective fields. The Tiger Initiative also aims to promote the organization’s mission of providing a well-rounded educational experience to its students and fostering a culture of excellence at NEMCC.
